At AIM Foundation, we believe that the seeds we plant today will shape the world of tomorrow. One of our proudest initiatives has been our tree plantation and seedling distribution drive, aimed at restoring green cover and promoting eco-conscious communities.

2016: A Green Beginning
The year 2016 marked a significant milestone for AIM Foundation’s environmental journey. In a powerful show of community collaboration and ecological responsibility, we successfully planted and distributed 27,000 tree seedlings across various regions. These weren’t just trees—they were symbols of life, hope, and a cleaner, greener future.

This initiative brought together students, farmers, local residents, and volunteers, all driven by a shared vision: to fight climate change, improve air quality, and revitalize degraded land. Whether planted in schoolyards, along village roads, or in barren fields, each sapling represented a step toward environmental regeneration.

2017: Scaling Up the Green Movement
Building on the success of 2016, our ambition grew even stronger in 2017. With a bold and clear target, we aimed to plant and distribute 50,000 trees across four key districts in West Bengal:

North 24 Parganas
South 24 Parganas
Hooghly
Nadia
These regions were selected not just for their geographic spread but also because of their environmental vulnerabilities and the urgent need for reforestation. Our goal was to create green belts, enhance biodiversity, and foster a culture of conservation among the youth and local communities.

Tree plantation is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to counteract environmental degradation. Here’s what planting a tree does:
